To all People to whom these Presents shall conge - GREETING.

KNOW YE, That we William CARTER & Jacob STANNARD and the rest of the Inhabitants of the Town of Killingworth in the County of Middlesex and State of Connecticut for the consideration of thirteen Dollars and sixty five Cents received to our full satisfaction of Jesse BUEL of Killingworth in the County and State aforesaid

Do give, grant, bargain, sell and confirm unto the said Jesse BUEL his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract of land or highway in said Killingworth in the first society a little southerly of Walnut hill so called. Beginning at the southerly end of said road share of interests the road leading from Jesse BUELs to Samuel KELSEY's and running northerly seventy eight rods and estimated at three ? an half rods wide, containing one acre and one hundred and thirteen rods of land be the same more or less, being bounded southerly & northerly on highway, westerly by land of Elias CRANE, Samuel DOWD and Nathaniel STEVENS, and easterly by land of said Jesse BUEL & Nathaniel STEVENS

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above granted and bargained premises, with the appurtenances thereof unto him the said Jesse BUEL his heirs and assigns forever, to his and their own proper use and behoof. And ?, we the said Grantors do four ourselves and every ?? covenant with the said Grantor his heirs and assigns that at and until the ensealing these presents we are well seized of the premises as a good indefeasible estate in fee simple, and have good right to bargain and sell the same in manner and form as in above written, and that the same is free of all incumbrances whatsoever, except ???? AND FURTHERMORE, we the said Grantors do by these presents bind ourselves and ? to warrant and defend the above granted and bargained premises, to him the said Grantor his heirs and assigns against all claims and demands whatsoever. ???
