we the subscribers being appointed have this: 29th: of Aprell in ye year 1724 Laid out to Sam'll and John CARTER Each ? of their proportions of Land in the Eight Divition it being a Certain tract or parcel of Land lying in the town ship of Killingowrth upon the hill above Mr ELIOT's sawmill pond on the East side of manniquetecit River begining at the southwest Corner at a Chestnut tree marked thence Eastward thirty two Rods to a walnut tree marked, thence westerd ninty Rods to a white wood tree marked thence westward thirty two rods and a half to a Chestnut tree marked stoans about it, thence southerd ninty Rods to the first Corner Containing Eighteen acres and ten Rods as it lyeth Bounded Every ways by Common Land,
