Deed from Daniel POST to Samuel WILLARD

Know all men by these presents that I Daniel POST of Say Brook in ye County of New London & Colony of Connecticut in New England for & in consideration of Six Pounds money Rec'd of Sam'll WILLARD of ye same Say Brook with which I acknowledge myself fully satisfied Contented & Paid have given granted & confirmed and by these presents Do freely & absolutely give grant enfeoffe convey & confirm unto him ye s'd Sam'll WILLARD his heirs & assigns forever a Certain Right or Proportion in that Tract or parcell of land in Say Brook aforesaid called & known by ye name of ye Common & undivided lands in Pataconk which Tract is bounded as it lyes in Common & undivided among ye Proprietors thereof viz East on Connecticut River & some lotts allready laid out and South on s'd lotts & the Quarters of Oyster River & Potopauge West on Killingworth Township & North on the Township of Haddam which Right or proportion is what belongs to ye estate of one hundred & twenty six Pounds & is in full of what Belongs to me in my own Right & in Right of my Brother Jordan POST amounting in the whole to one hundred & twenty six Pounds Right as aforesaid. To Have & To Hold the above granted one hundred & twenty six Pounds Right in said tract of land with all the Divisions Rights Communage appurtainances priveledges & Commodities to the same in any wise Belonging to him the said Sam'll WILLARD his heirs and assigns forever to his & their ownly proper use and behoof & I ye said Daniel POST Do avouch myself to be ye sole owner of all ye premises & that I am seized of ye same as aforesaid and that ye s'd Sam'll WILLARD his heirs & assigns shall & may have hold use possess & Injoy ye above granted premises and appurtainances without any ejectment Disturbance or Incumbrance of Title whatsoever & Do hereby Covenant & Ingage for myself my heirs Executors & administrators to Warrant & Defend the above granted Premises to him ye s'd Sam'll WILLARD his heirs and assigns against all claims & Demands of any person or persons whomsoever,

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this 28th day of January 1733/4
